Jolicloud has finally made available the Express public beta version after months of undergoing private alpha testing. What’s Jolicloud Express anyways? It is a lightweight Linux distribution which was specially designed to run web applications including Gmail, Google Docs, Facebook and Twitter, alongside native Linux applications such as OpenOffice.org, Boxee and GIMP, making it a snap for you to work on said applications whenever you do not have an Internet connection, like say, when you’re halfway on a plane. Anyone tried this out yet, and what are your comments on it?
